Business Support Administrator

To conduct and ensure all administration tasks related to key clients are completed within the set timeframes with a high level of accuracy.

Key Purpose of the Job:

To conduct and ensure all administration tasks related to key clients are completed within the set timeframes with a high level of accuracy.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Being first point of contact for customer- liaising directly via e-mail and telephone.
  • Development of relationships with key customer and supplier contacts
  • Responsibility for monthly invoicing for the customer and assisting credit control on account queries
  • Working with National Account Managers to address, identify and resolve issues affecting customer service and account profitability
  • Updating database and keeping information up to date. Creating and closing down sites. Logging and closing/charging of calls
  • Liaising with various department within business to create reports on timescales, deadlines and cost for the customer.
  • Chasing of Installation and Service departments in order to make sure jobs are complete within timeframes and Customer SLAs.
  • Liaising with Customer Service department to aid in resolving any Customer complaints.
  • Assisting Installation team by preparing Installation packs for key customer
  • Working from various databases- Protean, Web based programs, MS Office.
  • Working with the account manager to ensure all service agreements are met
  • Update Sentinel with Key Holder information
  • Provide annual leave cover for wider strategic accounts team when required

Essential requirements for the job:

  • High level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to meeting the demands of key customers
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Ability to work on an individual basis as well as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non- technical clients.
  • Excellent use of written and spoken English language
  • Customer facing skills in regular administration and Invoicing reviews
