Warehouse and Fleet Support
Key Purpose of the Job:
As part of a team you will be involved in all aspects of the day to day Fleet & Warehouse operations.
Key Job Responsibilities of Fleet Warehouse & Support:
Warehouse:
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork and are processed correctly
- Delivering equipment when required
- Picking and packing of equipment in the warehouse and ensuring 100% accuracy
- Dispatch of goods via external carrier network
- Participating in stock control and stock takes
- Maintain efficient returns procedure for equipment
- Review & process pick lists and delivery notes
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules, and schedules
Fleet:
- Manage and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports, making sure that all deadlines are met.
- Organise and manage all contract ending inspections
- Fleet Induction to new starters
- Distribute all penalty notices, to the relevant parties concerned.
- Support company vehicle driver’s with Fleet Policy & Procedures
- Issue & Return of company vehicles
- Arranging hire vehicles, servicing of vehicles & tyre repairs & replacements
- Ensure fleet records are kept up to date
Essential Requirements:
- FLT licence (desirable, not essential)
- Driving licence
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Punctual and flexible
- Work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
- Competent at driving cars & light commercial vehicles (Up to 3.5T)
