What a weekend! A team of over 50 Kings staff; aptly named the Kings Conquerors, took on Tough Mudder Yorkshire on Saturday at Broughton Hall, Skipton, to raise funds for our nominated charity; Martin House Children’s Hospice.
The team not only had the distance of 12 miles to tackle, but also a gruelling 28 obstacles, including the likes of Artic Enema 2.0, Pyramid Scheme, Mud Mile 2.0, King of the Swingers and Electroshock Therapy (to name just a few!)
Tough Mudder really isn’t for the faint-hearted and is built to test your mental grit, camaraderie and all-around physical fitness – with team work at the heart of it all. The Kings Conquerors worked together, overcoming all obstacles that they came up against – all participants completed the course, even with smiles on their faces (and a lot of mud!)
Well done to all the participants and thank you to everyone who has supported and sponsored the team for such a worthy cause.
There is still time to donate! If you would like to support the Kings Conquerors and help them hit their ambitious target of over £11,000, you can make a donation here:
