Following the heats for the Engineers of Tomorrow Challenge which took place in June at IFSEC, we are delighted to announce that two of our apprentices have been named finalists.
Over three days, 64 apprentice engineers pitted their skills against one another in a security installation competition. Having successfully passed through two heats, Bradley Gilmour and Jason Townsend have now been invited to the prestigious Security Excellence Awards, which take place later this week in London.
The Engineers of Tomorrow 2016 winners will be announced during the evening to claim a £1,000 prize.
Well done to all the apprentices that took part in the challenge, but particularly to Bradley and Jason who made the finals.
Kings are also finalists in two other categories at the Security Fire Excellence Awards.
We have been shortlisted for the Large Security Installer of the Year and Security Project or Installation of the Year awards. The event highlights the very best people, projects and processes that the security and fire sectors have to offer.
