The occasion was an opportunity to reward and publicise the courage and bravery of security personnel in our industry, and to present awards to industry professionals whom have excelled in their roles.
For all concerned this was a truly humbling experience; and those security personnel nominated for awards, without doubt deserve the highest accolade for their truly awe inspiring feats of bravery.
The awards for both bravery and achievement were presented to the winners and finalists by Lynne Featherstone MP (Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Equalities and Criminal Information).
Following the presentation ceremonies, our Company was delighted to be mentioned by the keynote speaker and Chair of the BSIA, Julie Kenny CBE DL; as she thanked Kings Security Systems Ltd and in particular our Managing Director, Anthony King for sponsoring the event.
Kings Security Systems Ltd is very heavily involved with the BSIA and has members on many of its committees. Kings have hosted the North West Security Guarding Section meetings since February 2009 at our Head Office in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
It is now our intention to nominate our own employees whenever possible, to recognise and reward their effort and dedication wherever we can. Our ultimate aim is to have one our own team members receiving praise and accolade for their work at this nationally acclaimed event.
The luncheon took place at the Hilton Park Lane, London. Wednesday 13th July 2011.
