This is according to the British Retail Consortium survey in 2008, and as retailers prepare for the worst, they are looking for increased protection from their security company. Kings has achieved its enviable position as the leading UK independent company in the security industry under the personal leadership of its Managing Director, Anthony King. Experienced specialist teams in each aspect of the company’s business support him.
Anthony King said, “Our customers are demanding more and more from their security, and we have responded by investing over £3 million in our new head office and ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre). This will meet their needs both now and into the future. I am proud to be leading an independent security company that is able to invest this amount of money to protect our clients’ property and personnel. We were formed over 40 years ago and we look forward to a bright future as the No 1 independent security company.”
The investment illustrates how they are committed to combat crime and meet the increasing demand of retailers for a personal service coupled with the support and expertise of a national company.
At the three-day launch event on 2nd, 3rd & 4th December, Kings will show visitors their latest Alarm Receiving Centre. For customers who prefer a hands on experience, Axis, Honeywell, Webway and RedWeb are demonstrating the benefits of the technologies used by Kings. The training sessions are available at selected times on each of the 3 days.
In addition the FIA, BSIA and NSI will be present at the launch. The longstanding relationship with these associations has been key to maintaining and strengthening their commitment to quality and meeting industry standards.
All areas of retail security are covered by the King’s comprehensive service and reporting systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV Systems, access control, electronic tagging, roller shutters, fire alarms, mobile patrol services, key holder and alarm response services.
Recent additions to the Kings client portfolio include: Peacocks, Starbucks, Barracuda and Mothercare who all agree that King’s personal service enhance their security requirements.
Kings commitment to the environment means they have invested in specialist technologies that avoid the need for a physical presence. IP Signalling is fast becoming the preferred method of alarm transmission and Kings co-ordinate the client’s security requirements through remote diagnostics, remote engineering and management information, specifically using SIA Format Protocol for alarm transmissions.
Kings Security employs more than 200 people nationally. The company’s expansion plans over the next five years will be consistent with maintaining the best service and quickest response times to meet the individual needs of its customers.
