Introductions were made by Christopher Biggins who hosted the evening’s entertainment and was most endearing and we were moved to hear the experiences of the Paul family who had been provided with support from the charity to help them through a most difficult time in their lives.
The Jersey Boys gave us a spectacular performance which made the occasion all the more enjoyable. Not only was this a fabulous evening of fine dining and great entertainment but this year’s Charity Dinner was also a great success as it raised an amazing £150,000.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities is an incredible cause. This independent charity looks at ways to provide support to families with sick children. This is so important as it enables families to stay close to their child maintaining as much normality as possible during an otherwise stressful time.
The money raised will now help provide 6,000 more nights of accommodation to families with children in hospital.
Congratulations to all those involved on the night!
