Allan joined the company in September 2011 to provide operational support after we were awarded the Grapevine Contract by ‘The Post Office Ltd’, for the provision of Security Intelligence to their national branch network, UK Cash Vehicles in Transit (CViT) operation and to its agents and employees.
Allan has had a 31 year career with the Police. He headed the force Major Crime unit which targeted organized criminal gangs and in particular those engaged in Cash in transit robberies and also served on the force drug squad during which he performed undercover drug purchases throughout the country.
Allan served in all ranks in both uniform and CID and was the Silver Commander for the search operation of the homes of those responsible for the 7/7 bombings in London.
Allan retired in 2009 from West Yorkshire Police as the Commander of Airedale and North Bradford division. Prior to his promotion to Chief Superintendent Allan was the Senior Investigating Officer based at Bradford South Division and headed investigations into major crime across West Yorkshire for a number of years.
Prior to joining Kings, Allan was a member of Victim Supports National Homicide Team providing emotional and practical support for the family of victims of murder and manslaughter in England and Wales.
