Last year (2011) the ‘100 in 100 team’ set the industry the massive challenge of placing 100 apprentices into jobs in security in as many days.
Not only was the target far exceeded with 180 young people finding a job as a result of the drive, but the industry gained acclaim with the government and national press.
The program has since progressed to the founders of 100 in 100 securing a meeting with Skills Minister, John Hayes, where they will continue to pioneer growth and employment opportunities for school leavers — putting the security industry firmly on the map and in the public eye.
Our organisation currently has 11 employees undergoing apprenticeships, with 3 working towards the business administration framework and the remainder 8 working towards engineering manufacturing frameworks.
This number is set to increase this year.
