Senior Service Engineer- London

Key Purpose of the Job

Service and maintain intruder, CCTV and access control systems, working in accordance with the current standards. Senior engineer to assist the Department Head and Area Engineer Manager in delivering exceptional performance, Motivation and excellent customer service. Providing a high level of Field technical expertise across all Intruder/CCTV and Access control system both conventional and IP based systems

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Effective communication between Kings Security, Customers and the Area Engineer Manager
  • Working within a team covering a geographical area
  • Carry out site product Audits as per the audit schedule
  • Ensure customer queries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Provide leadership to respective teams
  • Site project management as required
  • To assist the teams in case of sickness, leave or resource problems.
  • Carry out field based mentoring
  • Assist with technical queries from teams
  • Assist the Schedulers with mobilisation and planning
  • Ensure timesheets are authorised and passed back to the office
  • Ensure team working practices are maintained to a high standard at all times
  • Attend regional and Head Office meetings as required
  • Carry out Ladder Inspections and Vehicle Inspections as per the trackers
  • To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
  • Any other reasonable requests from management
  • Implement and act in accordance with the organisations information security policies
  • Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference
  • Implement particular security processes or activities, as requested by management
  • Report security events or potential events or other security risks to the organisation

Essential requirements for the job

  • Candidate to have a minimum of 3 years experience across multiple disciplines including Intruder, CCTV, Access Control.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads
  • Exceed all tasks given
  • Be an ambassador for Kings at all times, displaying quality and excellence in all dealings with external and internal customers and suppliers

Desirable requirements for the job

  • Network/IP based product experience
  • Full Knowledge of Galaxy Panels/Max Readers
  • Previous experience within a senior position
