All Kings Guarding personnel are working to Best Practice for Retail developed by Kings Security Systems to ensure secure retail monitoring. They also receive training in Loss Prevention in order that they thoroughly understand the environments they are protecting.

Kings guards are all SIA licensed with ongoing training courses accredited by Skills for Security and we don’t stop there, Kings Security Guarding Division is aware that all customers’ premises are unique therefore we aim to deliver job specific training courses on secure monitoring covering both commercial and retail which will typically include:-

Internal / external retail theft – what / who to look for

• Powers of arrest – dos and don’ts
• Conflict Management – Non aggressive / Reasonable Force
• Shrinkage – how it occurs and the effects on business – how to reduce it.
• Communication and reporting
• Health & Safety / Major Incidents
• Store / Site Specific Training such as high risk areas – Recent Issues H&S etc
